The surface that
outlasts winter.

Vuba Stone certified resin-bound surfacing — Spanish marble aggregate locked in UV-stable resin. Seamless, permeable, and engineered for Ontario's freeze-thaw cycles. The material we built Dalaga on.

N°01 Why resin stone

Concrete cracks.
Resin flexes.

Ontario's freeze-thaw cycles destroy traditional concrete from within. Water freezes, expands, and cracks the surface every winter. Resin Stone absorbs that movement — the flexible binder flexes instead of fracturing. And because it's 100% permeable, water never pools to freeze in the first place.

Marble bound in
UV-stable resin.

Two ingredients, zero compromise. Natural Spanish marble aggregate for beauty and hardness. Aliphatic polyurethane resin for flexibility and UV resistance. Mixed on site, trowelled by hand, cured in 24 hours.

Layer 01

Natural Aggregate

Crushed Spanish marble in calibrated grades — 1–3mm for fine texture, 2–5mm for standard, 6–10mm for bold exposed looks. Available in warm terracotta, neutral cream, cool charcoal, and bespoke blends.

  • Hardness Mohs 3–4
  • Source Alicante, Spain
  • Colourfast Natural, no dye

Layer 02

Aliphatic Resin

UV-stable polyurethane binder that remains crystal-clear for decades. Unlike aromatic resins, it won't amber or degrade under Ontario's intense summer sun. Flexible down to −40°C.

  • UV stability Non-yellowing
  • Flexibility −40°C to +80°C
  • Tensile strength >10 MPa
Permeable sub-base of clean crushed stone ready for resin stone installation
Layer 03

Permeable Sub-base

Open-graded crushed stone base (20mm clean) provides structural support and water storage. Rain filters through the resin surface, through the base, and into the native soil — no drains, no puddles, no runoff.

  • Permeability >38,000 L/hr/m²
  • Depth 150–250mm
  • Compliance SUDS / CSA
N°03 Applications

Designed for
how you live outdoors.

Every application demands a different blend, texture and edge detail. We design the surface around your architecture, not despite it.

Resin Stone is sensitive to temperature, humidity, and sub-base preparation. We follow Vuba's certified protocol — refined through 270+ global installations — to ensure a surface that lasts decades.

  1. 01

    Site Assessment & Drainage Design

Soil type test, percolation rate, and slope analysis. We design the drainage layer depth and outlet strategy before excavation begins. No guesswork.

01 Is it really permeable? How does that work?

Yes — 100% permeable and SUDS compliant. Water passes through the voids between marble aggregate particles at up to 38,000 litres per hour per square metre. Beneath the surface, a 150–250mm layer of clean crushed stone stores and slowly releases water into the native soil. No drains. No puddles. No runoff.

02 Will it crack in Ontario winters?

No. Unlike rigid concrete, resin stone flexes. The polyurethane binder absorbs ground movement and thermal expansion instead of fracturing. Tested from −30°C to +40°C. And because water drains through instead of freezing inside the surface, you eliminate the primary cause of freeze-thaw cracking entirely.

03 Can I customize colours, patterns, or logos?

Absolutely. We offer custom aggregate blending to match your architecture, saw-cut pattern inlays for geometric designs, and logo medallions in contrasting aggregate. Family crests, house numbers, and border bands are all possible. If you can sketch it, we can surface it.

04 How does it compare to traditional concrete?

Resin stone is the premium alternative to concrete — seamless, permeable, and customisable. It costs more upfront than standard poured concrete but eliminates the long-term expense of crack repair, resealing, and resurfacing. Over 25 years, total cost of ownership is typically lower. And you get a surface that concrete simply cannot replicate.
